LEVITA Orb comes from LEVITA, the levitation lab — a line that replaces stands, bearings and contact points with magnetic suspension. The object floats, spins or hangs in open air, turning a functional device into a piece of physics you can live with.
The Design
Each LEVITA piece pairs a precision-machined floating element with a signature HyperWare magnetic base. There are no visible axles on the moving part, and the drive is contact-free, which removes the two things that normally age fast: friction wear and motor noise.
A natural focal point for desks, studios, reception areas and retail displays — anywhere a visitor should stop and ask "how does that work?".

Is the levitation stable in daily use?
Yes. The magnetic control loop self-stabilises after the float position is set; light nudges return to centre on their own.
What happens during transport?
The floating element is secured for shipping and simply unlocked on arrival. Set-up is a one-time position calibration.
Does the magnetic field affect nearby devices?
The field is tightly contained around the base and floating part. Standard practice applies — keep strong magnets away from credit cards and pacemakers, as with any magnetic product.
